Post #80: Putin’s Perspective on America

This morning I read the transcript of Tucker Carlson’s interview with Vladimir Putin. It reveals some telling things about our country at the present time. First, he knows Biden is not in control of the White House. He didn’t say who it is or whether he even knows who it is. But it is clear, not just from his acknowledgement but also from what we see ourselves about our country, that there are evil forces at work behind all that we see happening. He also said in Russia men are men and women are women. But here there is great deception on the issue of what is a man and a woman and what is marriage. It is interesting that a country we perceive as unenlightened is actually wiser than what is being presented to us here. He said more things that are good to hear. Here is what I make of this. The United States of America is the only country founded on the Biblical principle of a free people with freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of peaceable assembly, freedom to bear arms, and freedom of religion to worship and teach as one wishes. The United States has been the most generous nation in history, even to those defeated in war. It is the only nation to have worked toward the freedom of other peoples and nations, while others have used war and their power to overthrow other nations. The Christians of this nation have served all over the world helping others and proclaiming the Good News. All that this country has stood for must be a very sore spot for Satan. His desire to take over the whole world with the antichrist is threatened by the Godly character and Christian influence that the United States has been. But he is getting his revenge against this country by destroying it from within. He has deceived gullible people and taken captive powerful people he can use in his campaign of deception. The evil forces behind those in power in this country and campaign of deception of the gullible unknowing and spiritually illiterate against the way God made and ordained things to be in His love and glory are Satan’s work. Satan is building up his forces for the final battle against God and all that honors Him. I don’t believe that this country could have fallen so far from its founding principles and its intent to honor the Creator and Sustainer of all that is good without Satan’s massive effort.

Will this country turn from its evil ways and return to honoring its Creator? I believe Satan hates this country and all that for which it has stood for over 200 years, and what we are seeing is the beginning stages of his war against God, starting with the destruction of His favored nation that has honored Him and served Him all this time. I am sure a massive revival is quite possible and something for which to pray earnestly, but we also need the wisdom and the faith in God to prepare ourselves for more of Satan’s onslaught. In light of my previous article on suffering, I strongly encourage you to grow in your walk with the Lord to the point you KNOW He can and will sustain you when everything you hold dear is falling away and life looks hopeless. Nothing is hopeless in Him, and you may need that kind of faith, if Satan’s evil gets further out of hand. You belong to the One who has the end firmly in His control. But before then, we may have to endure trials and suffering. We must get to the point of knowing God’s glory and provision so strongly that the trials and suffering we must endure are never more than we can endure in His strength. We must know we are able to count on Him whatever happens. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah refused to bow down to Nebuchadnezzar’s golden statue saying they know the God they serve can save them from Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace, but even if He doesn’t they are not going to bow down to the statue. We need the same faith and devotion to God during these times.

I recommend searching the Scriptures for passages that can help you know and trust Him better. Personally, researching and writing Heaven Is Beyond Imagination did that for me. The more I saw how wonderful God is and how much He has prepared for our eternity with Him at no cost or requirement from us other than believing and accepting His Son, the more I knew I could trust Him no matter what and could receive and participate in His love. Perhaps that book can do that for you, too. Another channel is testimonies of others who have seen God’s miraculous provision when it was needed. Jesus never promised us a safe life, but instead promised us all nations would hate us because of His name, but he would never leave us or forsake us. Suffering is the way of the cross, but the end is a victorious celebration dinner in the best banquet hall in heaven!
