I recently read an article in The Epoch Times/Inspired newsletter about Stephanie Arnold who had a premonition that she was going to die giving birth to her son, her third child. She knew months before her due date that she was going to die on the operating table. She told friends and mentioned it on Facebook. Lastly she told her anesthesiologist. “She said she was startled by it,” Arnold said.
But even though Arnold hung up feeling like the anesthesiologist didn’t help, it ended up being the crucial tie-breaker. The anesthesiologist subsequently flagged Arnold’s file to incorporate extra blood and a crash cart in her operating room.
The article says that three seconds after the boy was born she went into cardiac arrest from a rare occurrence of an amniotic fluid embolism — where the amniotic fluid gets into the mother’s bloodstream, and in Stephanie’s case, it caused a horrific allergic reaction. Her blood wasn’t clotting, she had a heart attack, her kidneys were failing, and she had to get a hysterectomy just like she had seen in her premonition.
She was dead for 37 seconds during which time she stood outside her body observing everything the medical staff was doing to save her. The extra blood and crash cart being right there was the key to her resuscitation. She saw her doctor standing beside her saying over and over again, “This can’t be happening. This can’t be happening.”
Later after she had recovered and come out of the medically induced coma, she asked her doctor if she had said “This can’t be happening.” Her doctor was shocked and told Arnold that she had, but only in her head.

The fact that Stephanie could “hear” what the surgeon was thinking coincides with the testimonies of many discussed in Heaven Is Beyond Imagination, who said that in heaven (or the spirit world in general perhaps) that all communication is mind to mind, thought to thought, spirit to spirit. Voices are not used for communication; voices are only used for singing praises to God. Some said what Jesus told them just appeared in their minds. This also goes for animals. Animals, such as pets, who don’t have the capacity for speech nevertheless have thoughts and feelings. In heaven you will be able to “hear” your pet’s thoughts. One witness saw children riding horses, and they and the horses were communicating with each other to the enjoyment of both of them. You will be able to ask your pet, “What were you thinking when…?”
Another consequence of this ability is that there can be no sin in heaven since every sinful thought one has would be plainly understood by anyone “listening”. We cannot entertain any sinful thoughts there, so Satan and all demons that cause sinful thoughts will not be there to tempt anyone. So get over all your sinful thoughts here, as you will not have them when you cross over! Fortunately, since I don’t want to “hear” all your sinful thoughts, nor you mine.
