As we look back over all the topics of heaven we have covered, what we see is that it is really an exposition of the depths of God’s love for us. When we see the beauty and perfection in all He has prepared for us when we will be with Him where He is, what stands out is that it is His deep love that enables Him to spare no limits in giving us a fulfillment of joy, hope, acceptance, and satisfaction. Every feature of heaven we have seen has a beauty, perfection, and radiance beyond anything on Earth. It is indeed His glory and we will share in it. Jesus told his disciples, recorded in John 17:24, he wants them to be where he is to see and share His glory. His glory is the overwhelming presence of God’s love. As we have looked at many features of heaven, underlying all of them is the evidence of God’s unimaginable love for us in the perfection of all He has created for heaven. He apparently created all this so we can be a part of His glory.
The information for all these posts has been taken from the testimonies of fifty published eyewitnesses of heaven. In some cases, I added additional thoughts, such as in post 34 on the nature of vision. The fifty eyewitness accounts in Heaven Is Beyond Imagination were compared side by side to show the similar and different ways various people saw the same features of heaven. Heaven Is Beyond Imagination is the result of this analysis and contains nearly everything recorded in these posts.
So if you have read all of these posts, you have an overview of the contents of Heaven Is Beyond Imagination. The full picture of heaven given in the book will bless you further. It is an invitation to get close to your Creator and Savior and recognize some of the extent of God’s love for you (which is actually “beyond imagination!”). Embracing His love could change your life in the same way it did for each of these eyewitnesses.
There is much more to our relationship with God than just the nature of His kingdom in which we will share. It is all the dynamics of an intimate love relationship with God himself and Jesus. When every one of these witnesses came back from death, they had been transformed with a deeper knowledge of God’s love and a greater urgency to live this life with eternal priorities, the ones Jesus taught us. Their heaven experience had a huge impact on their earthly experience. In Heaven Is Beyond Imagination, I have attempted to capture the essence of the witnesses’ experience of God’s glory in heaven and in Chapter 19, “Life after Heaven,” how it has changed their lives afterwards.
