I have had some questions about the issue with Matthew and his son. So here is a clarification of what I wrote in “Children in Heaven”.
Matthew’s son didn’t die. The girl visited him in his dreams at night. He was alive on Earth, and she was in heaven, but was able to communicate with him in his dreams. Others have reported being taken in the spirit while asleep. Mary K. Baxter was taken to both hell and heaven on different occasions. Roland Buck was taken to heaven to see God’s archives. Matthew experienced heaven without a physical death also. So I am guessing it is the same with Matthew’s son. Perhaps while he was asleep, the girl took his spirit to heaven for a short visit. That seems very unusual but also a very loving thing for God to do. When I read it, I was very touched as Matthew was, but in his case, it was very personal, however for me it was just another way God’s love brought glory and healing. Matthew was divorced and not able to see his son for several years. But I gather the son cared about his father and was comforted to know about him, as indeed Matthew was about his son when the girl told him about it. It is an awesome miracle and gift of love in my mind. A correction: I said the girl rides horses with Michael. That is Michael the archangel, not Matthew’s son, whatever his son’s name is.
