In this blog, Heaven Unveiled, I plan to provide answers to questions about what happens when we die and what heaven or hell are like and part the veil that separates us from God’s eternal plan for us. This will all be based on what the Bible tells us, primarily from Randy Alcorn’s Heaven which is the most thorough treatment of the subject, and from fifty some eyewitness testimonies (and nineteen of hell). These testimonies all come from fifty-six published books I have read giving personal accounts of temporary death through sickness or accident. The books generally detail the author’s life leading up to his or her (hisr) temporary death, hisr experience in death, and hisr recovery afterwards. I will be concerned with what they have seen of heaven and minimize the rest of the story. By comparing all of these witness stories, I have seen more about heaven than any single eyewitness has seen, but without the thrill and excitement of being there in person. But I hope these blog posts give you a sense of what it will be like there to encourage you in this life, to comfort you in the loss of a loved one who has gone there, and anticipate your arrival there some day.
If you have specific questions, you can send them to me and I will research the best answer from all the available testimony. I plan to publish all of these findings in a new book, Heaven Is Beyond Imagination, but to get the attention of a literary agent or publisher I need to demonstrate a long list of the email addresses of potentially interested parties. If you will be so kind as to share your email address with me I will send you a short manuscript giving answers to ten common questions.
Thank you very much for this information it is helping me a lot with understand the reality of heaven.
